1/6/10 I have always wanted to...


YES!
I have finally taken the leap and created a blog to use with my students.
I will use this site as an extension of my classroom. Sometimes you can't get to everything in 50 minutes. This blog will be a safe place to share ideas and ask questions. This blog is also a place to find out information about what is going on in my class.

Now that I have shared something I have always wanted to do, it's your turn.
Tell me something you have always wanted to do or maybe at your age, what you hope to do one day.

    I have always wanted to go sky diving. I think it would be really fun and exciting. I don't think I want to do it soon, but maybe when I'm 21.

    Something that I hope to do some day is to become a marine biologist, or marine mammal trainer. I have always had a facination with the sea, and becoming a marine biologist or marine mammal trainer is my dream. -Carys, Period 6

    Wow Carrie, that sounds really exciting! I've always wanted to (this might sound weird) compete in an agility trial with 1 of my dogs. They really seem to have fun doing it! At home, sometimes my sister and I do mock trials! She "competes" with Beamer and I "compete" with Lucy. They are mini schnauzers (i think that i spelled that right...) so their ability level is high.

    Something that I hope to do is enter the winter olympics in snowboarding, or the X-games for skateboarding. It would be thrilling to compete, even if i didn't win. Another thing I would like to do is sell my own record or get some writing published.

    I've always wanted to go skydiving, but I'll have to wait until I'm 18. I'm going to go with my dad. My mom doesn't want me to go because she says it's too dangerous. She doesn't want to hear about my dad and I going skydiving until it's over. I've always thought that skydiving would be so cool! I can't wait to be 18 so I can skydive! I would also like to achieve my blackbelt in Taekwondo one day.

    What I like to do is that I want to be an engineer like my older high school brother who is taking robotic club and I would like to do something like that too. It sounds pretty fun and interesting to me. Like working as a team agianst another team.

    I've always wanted to either go to Africa and go on a safari, or go to Australia and go bungee jumping and scuba diving. Also, like others, I want to go sky diving someday! Or ...i've always wanted to go to Africa and become like a orangoutang (monkey or chimpanzee) or some kind of wildlife rescue person... Basically when I get older and have a good job, I want to explore the world and all possible (safe) opportunities!

    I have always wanted to go scuba diving in the Caribbean because of all of the bright and breath-taking colors and all types of fish and small sharks to see! I would really like to go so I can get the chance to pet a wild sting-ray.

    One thing that i have always done is to go to Europe. I think that going to Europe will be so fun. I can see myself meandering around the beaches of normandy in France.
